Ukraine to supply S-125 Pechora surface-to-air missile systems to Azerbaijan?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mykhailo Yezhel gave high assessment to Kyiv-Baku military and technical cooperation before the launch of Ukrainian and Azerbaijani Presidents Council.

As he noted, on October 21, Ukrainian and Azerbaijani committee for military cooperation held a meeting, focusing on prospective directions of technical cooperation.

Yezhel specifically noted Azerbaijan’s interest in supply, repair and reconstruction of S-125 Pechora surface-to-air missile system.

As earlier reported by Byelorussian media, Azerbaijan is the only member of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, exceeding limits set as to the number of battle tanks and artillery pieces.
