  Azerbaijan produces 413 types of defense productsNovember 3, 2010 - 20:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Industry Yaver Jamalov said that currently the local military industrial complex of Azerbaijan plays an important role in the equipment of the Armed Forces. The Minister noted that production of the needed output, weapons and armaments have been launched at local enterprises; negotiations on export are held with a range of foreign countries. “We have rehabilitated the plants that had stopped their activity after the collapse of the USSR, as well as launched new production. Currently, Azerbaijan produces 413 types of defense products,” APA agency quoted Jamalov as saying.
