Ahmadinejad: Karabakh settlement possible through negotiations, justice and mutual respect

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement is possible through negotiations, justice and mutual respect.

"The peoples of the region must live in peace and friendship. We are neighbors and cannot ignore our neighborhood. This is geography and history. If we try to resolve own problems fairly and friendly, solutions will be found to all problems,” Ahmadinejad said in an interview with Lider Azerbaijani TV channel.

“We repeatedly stated that Iran is willing to assist resolution of the conflict. We think the regional problems must be settled by the countries of the region. The interference of foreigners can escalate the conflict. Let the negotiations be continued and maybe a solution will be found with the help of God,” he said, Trend News reported.
