Medvedev pledges to assist normalization of relations between Armenia, Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia will assist normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Russian President said.

During a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev before the summit of Caspian states Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia will continue taking steps to ensure security throughout the region.

“Certain steps have been already taken. We believe that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict should be resolved on the basis of the international law,” he said, Itar-Tass reported.
