EU concerned over incidents at Karabakh frontline

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian briefed on the latest developments in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process during the 11th meeting of the Armenia-EU cooperation council.

Hungarian Foreign Ministry State Secretary Zsolt Nemeth and EU enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule voiced support to the peace talks held in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group and hailed the statement adopted during the OSCE summit in Astana.

At that, Mr. Fule emphasized that the incidents escalating tensions at the line of contact are inadmissible.

As to normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, the EU reiterated the necessity for ratification and implementation of the Protocols signed in Zurich in 2009 without any preconditions, RA MFA press office reported.
