Alexander Rar: Turkey can grow into gas seller

PanARMENIAN.Net - Aspired to become the main distributor of Russian and Central Asian gas to Europe, Turkey is interested in purchase of gas from Iran, Iraq and Caspian countries, according to a German expert.

“Turkey’s geographical location allows to grow from an ideal transit country into a gas seller, being a winner in the struggle for Nabucco and South Stream,” Alexander Rar said, quoted by Trend News.

“This will strengthen positions of the country as a bridge between Asia and Europe. Time will show whether Turkey can succeed,” he added.
