Ara Harutyunyan: NKR is an independent political unit

PanARMENIAN.Net - Setting up of a committee on the recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic will be another step in approaching the final goal, NKR Prime Minister stated.

“Using its financial resources, Azerbaijan pushes anti-Armenian propaganda worldwide, posing as a victim. We ought to be consistent, intensify activity and inform the international community about the true causes of the conflict as well as the history of Artsakh,” Ara Harutyunyan told a resulting press conference in Stepanakert.

At the same time, he noted, that “more and more people, particularly those directly and indirectly engaged in the Karabakh process, come to understand the reality.”

“Indeed, we all realize, that decades are needed to achieve a political solution. However, I believe, that time is on our side,” Harutyunyan said.

He also emphasized that despite its non- recognition, NKR is an independent political unit.
