Kazakhstan presidential election set for April 3, 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - The presidential election is Kazakhstan is set for April 3, 2011, as per decision of incumbent President Nursultan Nazarbayev, who has retained power for 20 years.

Registration of candidates is already in progress and will last till March 2.

Earlier, the country’s constitutional council has declined the bill on conduction of referendum on extension of Nazarbayev’s term of office till 2020.
