  Turkey’s general staff chief to visit Baku for discussion of military cooperation with Azerbaijan February 12, 2011 - 12:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - General Isik Kosaner, chief of the general staff of Turkey, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on February 16. This will be Kosaner’s first visit to Azerbaijan since he assumed the post in August 2010. The general is expected to meet with the Azerbaijani leadership to discuss military cooperation between Ankara and Baku, according to CNN Turk. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive.
