Nikolai Borduyzha: CSTO-NATO cooperation unfavorable for U.S.

PanARMENIAN.Net - There are no perspectives for CSTO-NATO cooperation on Afghanistan, CSTO Secretary General stated.

According to Nikolai Borduyzha, the situation came as a result of U.S. instructions, advising its NATO ambassador against developing cooperation with CSTO.

Borduyzha went on to express regret at political priorities taking prevalence over key security issues. “We have enough problems on our hands, as well as positive results achieved through coordination mechanisms. We don’t suffer because of the lack of official contacts with NATO,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
