Azerbaijanis confuse automatic e-mail response with Senator Menendez

PanARMENIAN.Net - The offices of U.S. congressmen send responses to all letters and requests received by a congressman or senator.

These are neutral responses, which are sent automatically. Either the Azerbaijani media and Azerbaijani-American Council (AAC) are unaware of this, or they mislead their readers.

We would like to note that this is not the first time, when the Azerbaijani propaganda mistakes the wish for reality.

This time the AAC sent a letter on events in Khojaly to U.S Senator for New Jersey Robert Menendez.

According to the Azerbaijani media, Senator Menendez “sent a letter of response with thanks.”

“Thank you for contacting me. I appreciate the fact that you use the opportunity to share your opinion with me. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may be of more assistance. I invite you to visit my website to learn more of my work in the U.S. Senate,” reads the response.

Meanwhile, Senator Menendez is well aware of what is taking place in the Karabakh conflict zone.

Otherwise, he would not place a “hold” on nomination of U.S. current Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza twice. And the nomination was blocked due to Bryza’s negative role in the conflict settlement, his negative attitude towards the Armenian Genocide and destruction of an Armenian cemetery in Nakhichevan.
