Christian population on verge of demographic extinction, Patriarch of Antioch warns

PanARMENIAN.Net - His Beatitude Gregorios III Patriarch of Antioch warned that the Christian population of Syria and other Arabic states is on the verge of demographic extinction.

In his address to the members of the Catholic League at the Patriarchate in Rabweh, the Patriarch urged to formulate ideas which might halt the Christian emigration from Arabic states. Gregorios named the Palestine-Israel conflict as the main reason for the emigration, MIGnews.com reported.
