Azerbaijan frustrates OSCE monitoring![]() March 21, 2011 - 10:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The monitoring of the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan aimed to investigate into the killing of Armenian serviceman Aharon Hayrapetyan was frustrated by the Azerbaijani side. The OSCE mission lead by personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk was briefed on the circumstances of the soldier’s death by NKR Defense Ministry officials. Several minutes after the OSCE mission departed, Azerbaijani snipers fired several shots in the direction. The ceasefire violation was brought to the notion of ambassador Kasprzyk, NKR MFA press office reported. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
