Turkey urges prosecution of Armenian groups foiling Turkish promotion events

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey has urged prosecution of and measures against attacks by certain Armenian groups on events promoting Turkey abroad.

"Attacks on events promoting Turkey abroad by some Armenian groups have recently increased. We are expecting related countries to prosecute those attacks and take measures to prevent recurrence of such incidents," Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Selcuk Unal said.

Unal said the latest instants of such attacks came during a Beirut fair of Turkish ready-wear manufacturers and at the International Books Fair in Paris.

"This hostile attitude and the radical nationalist mind set it is founded on have shown its face in the form of terrorist attacks in the past," Unal said, AA reported.
