As part of the visit, Bryza met with head of the autonomy Vasif Talibov to discuss democracy and human rights, Azadlig radio reported.

Besides, Bryza displayed interest in the state of historical monuments of the region, including Armenian khachkars in Old Jugha.

“It’s unfortunate that I have not managed to visit Jugha and see these ancient burial sites, but I expressed my desire to Talibov and, hopefully, I will be able to go there during my next trip. These monuments cause great interest. We support preservation of all monuments,” said Bryza.
