Armenia to send more peacekeepers to Afghanistan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian armed forces general staff chief, colonel general Yuri Khachaturov attended a meeting of NATO and Partner Chiefs of Defense at NATO HQ on May 4-5.

According to RA Defense Ministry’s press office, the meeting focused in the current situation in Afghanistan, further strategy and ongoing operations.

In his remarks, col. Gen. Khachaturov dwelled on Armenia’s participation in ISAF and plans to expand the contingent.
