Turkey Hopes for Breakthrough in Karabakh Process in 2007

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey is hopeful that 2007 will become the year of breakthrough in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, said Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Rafet Akgunay when addressing the OSCE Ministerial meeting in Brussels. He emphasized that in the light of the recent briefing rendered in Vienna by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs Turkey is inspired by the ongoing and improving dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia. "We are glad to express our optimism, although with some cautiousness, about the obvious prospects of the conflict settlement. We hope that 2007 will become the year of the breakthrough," he said, reports Trend news agency.
