  Armenian side confirmed her participation in opening ceremony of Agdamar ChurchMarch 15, 2007 - 17:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian delegation will participate in the opening ceremony of Holly Cross Armenian Church in Agdamar island, Turkey. Armenian Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs Hasmik Poghosyan told a press in Yerevan that a few days ago she had received an official invitation to participate in the opening ceremony of the Church. Poghosyan noted that either she personally or Deputy Culture and Youth Affairs Minister will head the delegation. "Alongside, several NGOs wished to be included in the delegation," she said. Poghosyan also added Georgian Minister of Culture, Monuments Protection and Sport Giorgi Gabashvili wished to participate in the opening ceremony of the Church in Turkey, "Novosti-Armenia" reports.
