PanARMENIAN.Net - Sergey Bagapsh, the President of the unrecognized republic of Abkhazia offered Russia to install a radar station in Sukhumi. "Unfortunately, Georgia demonstrates unfriendly attitude towards our republic. Actually, Georgia is a state which is preparing for war with Abkhazia," Bagapsh said. Such an idea occurred to the Abkhazian leaders due to possible installation of a U.S. radar station in Georgia, according to him.

An America radar station installed in Georgia may control not only Abkhazia but also Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. That is why we propose to install a Russian radar station in Sukhumi," Bagapsh said, reports Novosti Georgia.
