Armenia to attend SCO Peaceful Mission-2007 exercise as observer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Military experts from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) have launched today the third round of consultations on preparation and conduction of a joint anti-terror command and staff exercise Peaceful Mission-2007 to be held August 9-17 in China and Chelyabinsk region of Russia.



Defense Ministers and military of six states serving on the SCO - Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan - will arrive in South Ural. Over 4 000 servicemen will take part in the exercise to be observed by representatives from Belarus, Armenia and military attachés accredited in Moscow, UralBusinessConsulting reports.
