Armenian FM to participate in event dedicated to beginning of International Compact with IraqMay 2, 2007 - 20:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The RA MFA Press Office reports, Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian will depart for Egyptian resort Sharm el Sheikh May 3, where he will participate in an event dedicated to the beginning of actions that are supposed by International Compact with Iraq. The document was signed under the aegis of the United Nations and the Iraqi government. During the event that will be held on the level of foreign ministers, determination of the international community will be confirmed for assisting the establishment of stability in Iraq and reconstruction of the country, as well as improving living standards in Iraq. Almost 50 heads of delegations will make statements at the meeting. A resolution is expected in the result of the event.
