No Armenian citizens among victims of terror act in Ankara

PanARMENIAN.Net - There are no Armenian citizens among victims of the terror act in Ankara, RA MFA Acting Press Officer Vladimir Karapetyan told the PanARMENIAN.Net journalist.



A blow occurred on May 22 near the entrance of an overcrowded trade center during rush-hours, in the result of which 6 people were killed and more than 100 wounded. Turkish authorities think Kurdish militants have committed the terror attack.



Governor of Ankara Kemal Önal stated a suicide bomber caused the blast. According to forensic experts the bomber, Guven Akkus, a 28-year-old man from central Turkey, had strapped plastic explosives to his body. The governor also informed method and type of explosives used suggested the man was from a Kurdish separatist group.
