18-year-old Moscow resident confessed to killing 37 people

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Moscow law enforcement is investigating a case on crimes through national hatred. A 18-year-old student, Artur Ryno, who was detained in mid-April as a suspect in the murder of an Armenian, unexpectedly confessed to killing of several dozens of people together with his friend, Pavel Skachevsky, a student of the Russian State University, who is also kept in custody.

The youth told the police how he "punished" and "cleaned the city". At first the details of his story seemed unbelievable to the investigators, however later his evidence proved true.

If the evidence of the other crimes is found it will stir up a sharp public reaction, since the matter will concern mass murders of representatives of national minorities.

Ryno and Skachevsky were detained after the assassination of Karen Abrahamyan near his house in Kedrov street April 17. The young people plunged the businessman with a knife some 20 times and then escaped. However, they were found and detained later.

It was cleared up that since August 2006 Ryno had killed 37 people. At that 20 murders he committed with his accomplice Skachevsky. The skinhead confessed to hatred towards Caucasians, who "come to Moscow, unite and suppress Russians," Vremya Novostey newspaper reports.
