Several Armenians killed in Iraq recently

PanARMENIAN.Net - Several Armenians were killed in Iraq recently, Harach Paris-based newspaper reports. 36-year-old Ohan Abraham Yenokian was killed in Baghdad when coming out of the flat of a well-off Armenian. The owner of the flat left Iraq fearing of kidnapping.



Earlier, Zaruhi Karapet, aged 79, fell victim in a skirmish between the American and Iraqi soldiers. Nazar Melikian was killed in a blast.



Harach says the number of killed Armenians has reached 31 since intrusion of the U.S. troops in Iraq. 25 out of 28 kidnapped persons were released. The destiny of two hostages is unclear. The dead body of one hostage was conveyed to relatives, Azg reports.
