Tender has been already announced. The Turkish segment extending from Kars to the Georgian border makes 76 km. A 2000-meter tunnel will be dug through the border. Yukcel Domanic Turkish company has completed development of the working project of the Georgian sector. Till the end of the year Azerbaijan is supposed to allocate $50 to Georgia as a part of the $220 credit. The credit will be allocated for a 25-year term for the reconstruction of the Georgian sector of the railway, Trend reports.
