"I am hopeful that the Georgian confrontation will be resolved with political tools," he said. For his part, Mr Vaitiekunas informed he will depart for Tbilisi upon completing his Armenian visit. "The European Union and Lithuania are concerned over the situation in Georgia. We want to remind that integration into European structures is a significant process for Georgia and it can make the republic adherent to European values.
