Yerevan preparing for opposition rally

PanARMENIAN.Net - Police forces took up duty at the Matenadaran, where supporters of Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan are gathering for a rally. Law enforcers are called to secure public order without any interference, Mediamax reports.



The rally was scheduled for 3 p.m. but Ter-Petrosyan's staff members called on their supporters to gather at the site from 11 a.m.



Meanwhile, some sources report that defense technology was brought in the capital. The parliament and CEC premises are fortified.



According to preliminary data, Serzh Sargsyan was elected the President of Armenia.
