Rosoboronexport to supply Turkey with 80 anti-tank systems

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian state defense firm Rosoboronexport won a tender for anti-tank systems and missiles from the Turkish army, a tender commission statement said on Wednesday.



The Russian firm defeated U.S. and Israeli rivals to supply 80 anti-tank systems and 800 missiles. A bigger procurement project to purchase a satellite system for better surveillance of separatist Kurdish guerrillas was delayed, Reuters reports.



The first shipment is due till the end of the year.
