Sargsyan-Aliyev first meeting over in Saint Petersburg

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first-ever meeting between Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan and Azerbaijan's Ilham Aliyev has finished in Saint Petersburg.



Although it was just a familiarization, the meeting was constructive, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan commented.



"The Presidents did not refer to the Madrid proposals but briefed on their positions. They instructed the Foreign Ministers of both states to continue talks in the framework of the Minsk Group," the Minister Nalbandian said.



For his part, Elmar Mammadyarov informed that the OSCE MG Co-chairs will visit the region in the near future, reported the Public Television of Armenia.
