Supporters leave Georgian PresidentSeptember 30, 2008 - 16:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Co-founder and president of Georgian Rustavi-2, former Ambassador to Russia Erosi Kitsmarishvili said he leaves the ranks of President Saakashvili's supporters. He said that after Zurab Zhvania's death in February 2005 the balance of the Saakashvili-Burjanadze-Zhvania revolution triumvirate was broken. "Saakashvili seized the power. He changed the Constitution, strengthened the presidential institute and dragged us in a war. I was against hostilities and I can't be one in his team any longer," Kitsmarishvili said, Georgian Kviris Palitra weekly reports. The Ambassador was recalled not long before the armed conflict in South Ossetia to protest violation of Georgian airspace by Russian jets. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
