Russia calls for OSCE embargo on arms deliveries to Georgia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia calls on all OSCE member states to refrain from delivery of arms to Georgia unless Tbilisi stops its attempts to resolve its problems by use of force.

"As to the OSCE norms on armament delivery, they proved inefficient," the head of the Russian delegation to the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation, Mikhail Ulyanov said during the Vienna talks on military security and arms control.

"The scale of the August tragedy proved the necessity of such decision", Ulyanov said.
