  Nalbandian: Turkey can facilitate Karabakh process but not as mediatorOctober 30, 2008 - 14:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations is favorable for Armenia, Turkey and the entire region, the RA Foreign Minister said."Armenia never rejected dialog with Turkey and is willing to discuss any problem and establish diplomatic relations without preconditions," Edward Nalbandian told a news conference today. "We welcome Turkey's Caucasus Stability and Cooperation initiative, although there are many questions regarding the format and mechanisms of the platform," he said. "Turkey can facilitate the Karabakh resolution process by opening the border with Armenia and influencing on Azerbaijan. But it can by no means be a mediator in the talks," the Minister added.
