Latvia to share European integration experience with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Thursday with Latvian President Valdis Zatlers, the RA MFA press office told PanARMENIAN.Net



Mr. Zatlers said Latvia is interested in strengthening relations with Armenia and informed that he is planning to visit Yerevan next year.



Congratulating Mr. Zatlers on the 90th anniversary of Latvian statehood, Minister Nalbandian hailed the political dialogue between Armenia and Latvia. He also briefed on the current level of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process and possibilities to normalize relations with Turkey.



Touching of Armenia-EU cooperation, President Zalters said his country is willing to share its European integration experience with Armenia.



In the framework of the visit, Minister Nalbandian also attended the Church of Saint Gregory the Illuminator.



On the same day he headed for Estonia.
