GSP+ to facilitate Armenia-Germany economic cooperationFebruary 9, 2009 - 12:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the sidelines of the 45th Munich Security Conference to discuss bilateral relations.The leaders appreciated the current level of the Armenian-German relations and the $350-million bilateral trade. The Armenian President voiced assurance that granting Armenia GSP+ will facilitate Armenia-Germany economic cooperation. On Chancellor Merkel's request, President Sargsyan briefed on the current stage of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process. The heads of states also referred to formation of the CSTO rapid reaction force, the RA leader's press office reports.
