"Arms race, ongoing increase of defense budget, bellicose statements can drive the situation out of control. Threats to use force jeopardize the entire region and should be given a proper assessment," Serzh Sargsyan said in address to the 45th Munich Security Conference, the RA leader's press office reported. President Sargsyan emphasized that the international community should realize the menace of dividing lines. "I believe that the global financial crisis will not diminish the international significance of the region," he said. The RA President also stressed that the talk about Caucasus stability makes no sense, with the ongoing policy of exclusion of one of the countries from regional projects.
