  Samtskhe Javakheti administration only Armenian official resignsFebruary 20, 2009 - 12:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Akhaltsikhe deputy governor Samvel Oveyan, the only Armenian in the Samtskhe Javakheti administration, has sent in his resignation to protest the arrest of Armenian activists Vahagn Chakhalyan, Grigor Minasyan, Sargis Hakobjanyan and Grisha Avagyan, natnews.info reports. Samvel Oveyan's resignation is apparently the consequence of new governor's policy, according to expert Vahe Sargsyan.
