US and Russian Presidents issued a joint statement based on negotiation results

PanARMENIAN.Net - US and Russia intend to conclude a new agreement on reduction of strategic nuclear armaments until December 2009, upon the expiry of current agreement, says the joint statement based on results of today's London negotiations between Barack Obama and Dmitri Medvedev.



Obama and Medvedev agreed to continue with negotiations on Europe security and promote constructive dialogue between Russia and NATO.



Barack Obama accepted an invitation to visit Russia in July 2009, Svoboda Radio Station reported.
