In 2009 investments into Armenian railway system will comprise RR 2 billion

PanARMENIAN.Net - South Caucasian Railways Directors Council meeting took place in Moscow on Apr.16. The meeting focused on company's activities for 2009.



2009 SCRW tariff policy and budget were established and investment volume of RR 2.666 billion determined. South Caucasian Railways Directors Council considered anti-crisis measures and effective works with non-profile assets.



South Caucasian Railways a 100% branch of Russian Railways Public Corporation. Armenian railways were transmitted into concessionary administration of South Caucasian railways in accordance with Feb. 13, 2008 concessionary agreement. The term of Concessionary agreement is 30 years with 20 years of prolongation right.
