Gas supply to Armenia to be suspended from April 23 to 26April 22, 2009 - 14:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgian gas transporting company officially informed that due to reconstruction works on the pipe surrounding Tbilisi, gas supply to Armenia will be suspended from April 23 to 26, ArmRosgazprom press office reports. During this period, consumers will receive gas from reserves. ArmRosgasprom holds the monopoly for supply and distribution of the Russian natural gas on the domestic market in Armenia. The company was founded in 1997. For the moment, total capital of the company calculates $580 million. Its stockholders are Gazprom open joint stock company (57.59%), Ministry of Energy of Armenian (34.7%) and Itera oil-gas company (7.71%).
