Turkish Prosecutor General rejected Islamists' claim against Israeli government

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish Prosecutor General has rejected Mazlum Der organization's claim demanding criminal liability for Cast Lead military operation. Defendants under the case are 19 Israeli politicians and servicemen, including Israeli President Shimon Perez, Defense Minister Ehud Barack, Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and ex-Foreign Minister Tsip Livni.



Among other things, Mazlum Der demanded that the above-mentioned individuals be immediately arrested in case of being on the territory of Turkey. The case was filed in connection with alleged military crimes in Gaza sector during the Cast Lead military operation.



Turkish laws allow conducting military prosecutions cases beyond the country's borders.
