Turkey has little room to maneuver

PanARMENIAN.Net - Opening border with Armenia has reached a point where backpedaling is no longer possible, Turkish political expert Hasan Kanbolat said. "I think stability and security in the Caucasian region has become a Transatlantic issue and both the US and the EU want the problems resolved."

According to Turkish expert, the ongoing diplomatic process will stay on course despite the public backlash. "Currently Turkey has little room to maneuver under present circumstances, and even that maneuverability will be limited to conjecture," Today's Zaman periodical reports quoting Kanbolat.
