Turkey highly estimates U.S. support in Nagorno Karabakh settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Solution of problems between Turkey and Armenia is of interest not only the two countries, but the whole South Caucasus, defense minister of Turkey Vezhdi Genul said at the 28-th annual sitting of American-Turkish Council (АТС) in Washington.



According to him, Armenian-Turkish reconciliation continues since 2007 and the sides reached an agreement over the 'road map'. Genul stressed the necessity of intensifying the U.S. efforts aimed at quick settlement of problems between Armenia and Azerbaijan, adding that, he highly estimates the U.S. support in Nagorno Karabakh settlement.



Turkish minister also stressed, that if the U.S. congressmen supporting the Armenian Genocide resolution reach 125, it could hurt the process of reconciliation between two countries, Anatolian News Agency reports.
