Armenia improves secondary and higher education systemsJune 5, 2009 - 23:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The World Bank (WB) will allow a $25mln credit to Armenia for the 2nd Education Quality and Relevance Project. A relevant agreement was signed today by Head of the WB office in Yerevan Aristomene Varoudakis and Armenian Minister of Finance Tigran Davtyan. The project is aimed to improve education methods, preparation of children for primary school and higher education system. It also envisages improvement of technical equipment in schools and internet connection in over 400 schools in remote regions.
