What conditioned cancellation of Armenia's funding by Millennium Challenge Corporation?

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The decision of the American "Millennium Challenge Corporation" (MCC) to stop Armenia's funding, is related to the Yerevan City Council Elections on May 31," Armenia's ex-prime minister Hrant Bagratyan told a news conference today.



According to Mr.Bagratyan, MCC has not very good relations with the WB. "The fact that the WB has decided to provide Armenia with a credit after American corporation announced about its decision to suspend Armenia's funding aftermath, proves that these two organizations are playing against each other," he said emphasizing that statements of the WB always contradict to each other, which is not WB's fault. "Armenia itself does not provide the WB with a profound and exact analysis in respect to the real state of affairs, therefore very often statements and forecasts of the WB are not confirmed", he said.
