Armenia's CB issues commemorative gold coin "200 years of Khachatur Abovian"June 30, 2009 - 23:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Central Bank of Armenia issued a commemorative gold coin 200 years of Khachatur Abovian, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian writer, press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports. "Give Breath, Spirit, but Never Motherland to Enemy" and Khachatur Abovian's signiture are coned on the pieces. The reverse side of the coin depicts the portrait of Khachatur Abovian. 10 000 gold commemorative coins at nominal value of 10 000 AMD each are issued by the Central Bank of Armenia. The coin is made of gold, the 900th sample, diameter 22 mm, weighing 8.6 grams. Piece is designed by a member of the Artists' Union of Armenia Karapet Abrahamyan and coined by the Mint of Finland.
