According to the Information and Public Relation department of Yerevan municipality, the budget of the capital for 2009 has been approved on the basis of this year budgets of former district communities. The rates of local taxes, defined early this year by elders of the former district communities, have been also approved. The Mayor of Yerevan will have 3 deputies. Taron Margaryan was appointed the First Deputy Mayor of the capital, Kamo Areyan and Vano Vardanyan were appointed as two vice-mayors by Yerevan Council of Elders. The Council of Elders approved the regions of advertising and urban areas of the city.
