Seyran Ohanyan: Armenia should develop ties with Turkey without laying the sword

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is very decisive about opening the border with Turkey as we are unwilling to freeze the process, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said toady during the meeting with youth and diaspora representatives.



Border opening has economic benefits for Armenia, but progress can be achieved only through peaceful methods, without any preconditions or mutual concessions. "Possibility of unilateral concessions is ruled out," Minister said.



Armenia should certainly develop ties with Turkey, but it must never lay the sword, Mr. Ohanyan finds.
