Moscow to combat extremism and xenophobia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Moscow committee of regional relations and national policy suggested development of extra measures to combat extremism and xenophobia.

Discussion of national policy issues was initiated after the closure of Cherkizovsky market, which hosted some 3000 traders from foreign countries.

According to committee head Mikhail Solomentsev, special working group should be formed to patrol the districts where nationalists run riots.

An Instruction for Muscovites will also be published to teach tolerance towards migrants.

"The initiative will not demand heavy expenses, but terms of implementation have not been determined yet," he said.
