Germany to host Summer Youth Camp 2009 on August 1 -8

PanARMENIAN.Net - This has been the 8th time German Armenians' Central Council organized Summer Youth Camp for Armenian students with the assistance of German Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Church. On August 1 -8 The town of Overath in Germany will host Summer Youth Camp 2009, attended by 35 Armenian students from Germany and other European countries.



The event will feature lessons of western and eastern Armenian language, Armenian nation and church history, Armenian dance and song classes, tutored by representatives of Armenian community and Armenian Apostolic Church in Germany.



"I'd like to emphasize the importance of events, contributing to Armenian national integrity preservation. The program will provide a possibility for children to communicate in their native language and find new friends," Deputy Diocese Head, Archimandrite Serovbe Isakhanian told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
