Azerbaijan needs guarantees associated with athletes' accomodation in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan is still discussing the issue of participation of their youth judo team in the championship of Europe to be held in Yerevan between September 11-13, 2009. Azerbaijan has filed a provisional application for 14-people-delegation to arrive in Yerevan.



In this connection, head of press office of Azerbaijan's ministry of youth and sport Samaya Mammadova said, that the issue of traveling of Azeri team to Yerevan will be determined next week.



Note that in contrast to the Azerbaijani sportsmen, who have never participated in competitions in Armenia. Armenian fighters in 2007, took part in the world championship in Baku.
